Quick & Easy Makeup Looks For The Wild Child
Every woman’s makeup bag has products like mascara, blush, lipsticks, etc. We’re sure all of us have some makeup products that are practically untouched and that could be a bright coloured eye pencil or a bold lip colour. It’s quite appealing to watch models mix and match bold colours on their eyes and lips but it’s altogether a different thing to wear the same look at home or at dinner parties.
Its high time we bid a goodbye to myths like bold colours can only be used for certain occasions like parties and bold eyes combined with bold lips are a disaster. Bold colours are gorgeous and are a current favourite trend. Deep plums, wines, classic reds or unconventional metallics, it's all there, you just have to take a deep breath and SLAY them with confidence!
In order to help you move out of our comfort zone and be gallant to try bright and bold shades, makeup artist Pallavi Symmons takes you through an array of different looks showcasing the use of colours across your features. The play on colour is beautifully displayed and the overall result looks anything but gaudy. So give bold colours a chance to work their charm on you.
A few tips -
1. If you want to draw the attention to your bold makeup, keep your outfit basic. Use earthy, solid coloured outfits and make sure they compliment the shades you're using in your makeup.
2. Go easy on the bling, be it a bag or an accessory.
3. If you're going out in the day and are wearing a glossy bold lip, keep the highlighter minimal.
