POP Those Eyes! | Makeup Tricks
Do you sometimes feel like going out without any eye makeup for a low-key, dewy and flushed out feel? And when you leave your eyes bare, you just end up looking like you’ve been under the thermometer looking like a sick child. Then there are people storming questions at you as to why are you looking sick? And in your head, you’re just like “I’m just not wearing kajal, guys!”
No kajal days have been all the rage now a days, but none of us like looking sick! In this video, makeup expert Pallavi Symbols takes you through a quick and easy trick that can add that pop to your eyes! Most of the times, while doing eye makeup we miss out on our tear duct or the inner corner which is by far the most important part with it comes to adding dimension and making the eye stand out. A shimmer shadow or a highlighter helps you achieve just that! You can use a brush or even your finger to apply it. Make sure you use a small fluffy blending brush to bend it out, but remember to not overdo it. This trick is used by everyone from hollywood to bollywood when they want to keep dramatic eyes at bay but at the same time want to make them stand out. From Blake Lively, the Kardashians, the Jenners, the Hadids.. to bollywood divas like Kangana Ranaut and Katrina Kaif have been sporting this trend.
As much as you can sport this look on no makeup days, you can also sport it on a heavy eye makeup day! That's the versatility of this look ;)
Don’t forget to coat your lashes with mascara, or if you want to keep your eyes makeup free, just curl your lashes! However, remember to fill in your brows and highlight your brow bone to add structure to your face.
Some of the products that you can use to get this look are (remember to use the highlighting shades incase of a shadow palette)-
1. Bobbi brown long wear cream shadow stick - Shade Truffle
2. Maybelline rock nudes palette
3. Maybelline blushed nudes
A more expensive option would be the Marc Jacobs Twinkle Pop stick eye shadow in the shades - ballet pink shimmer and snow iridescent shimmer!
So, on days when you want to cut the drama yet make your eyes pop, this trick is definitely your answer!
