Giving in to your chocolate and potato chip cravings is not going to help you deal with PMS. Increased intake of sugar and salt will make things worse for you to deal with PMS. 

2. Exercise more

From pacifying PMS symptoms to relieving your body from the menstrual cramps, exercising is essential to give your body that required boost. Just a little bit of workout or a brisk walk is one of the most effective remedies to get you through your period and in the days leading up to it. Exercising stimulates the release of endorphins which helps uplift your mood especially during the period.

Addressing stress plays an important part in toning down PMS. Dealing with stress can get critical for women especially when PMSing and when on the period.
