Contour And Hide A Double Chin With Ease!
Double chin? SO not flattering! And don't fret if you have one, most of us do! While double chin selfies are great to send to your BFFs on snapchat, in reality, at parties, work or college? Hell no!
Here's an easy way you can hide your double chin and sculpt your jawline using minimal products and guess what? It works WONDERS!
Tip - Finish your base!
Let's begin! Whenever you contour your face, remember, you're playing with the shadow. So assess your face in a way that you know exactly where your natural shadows fall. For example- the hollows of your cheeks!
Then, grab a dark coloured concealer or a bronzing powder or a cream contouring palette. We recommend the MAC concealer, or the mac contouring kit. You can use the NYX one as well. The brush you'll need here is a flat contouring brush. Start from the outermost edge of your jawline, right underneath the ear, don't OD on the product, use minimal, and you can build it up gradually!
Now, when you reach the underneath of your jaw, start blending the product from underneath the jaw. Where your double chin is, make sure you get a good amount of product there and BLEND BLEND BLEND!
Blending is the most important as you don't want dark stripes of colour showing up on your chin and jaw. Next, grab a beauty blender or a blending brush and start sinking the product into your skin, just like your second skin, but darker.
As mentioned by Pallavi, do this on one side to see the difference between two sides of your face to compare, is it really making a difference? GREAT! Now continue applying the cream concealer or your contouring product. If the angular lines are working well with your jawline and chin, you'll know you have successfully contoured.
This will really help you hide your double chin and give you an appearance of a slender face :)
