1)Choosing the right footwear

2)Wash and clean your feet immediately
It is necessary to keep the feet clean and fungus free during the rainy season. Germs, dirt, fungus and bacteria from outside gather on the feet can lead to infections. A simple way to keep the feet clean is to dip the feet in water to which Dettol or any other antiseptic. If you are on the go then anti bacterial wet wipes come handy to wipe your feet.
3)Cut your nails
Long and un-kept nails are one of the biggest culprit,and in this season in particular. Try to keep them short so that dirt won’t get deposited in them.
Use an anti fungal powder in the heels and apply this to the space between the toes too. This helps in maintaining the dryness that is required here. However, one should remember that it is better to avoid creams in between the toes as it results in dampness and maybe fungal infections.
5)Wash your footwear
As essential as it is to care for your feet, it is just as essential to take care of your footwear too. Damp footwear not only breeds bacteria and fungus but also give out a horrible odour. Clean your footwear with water and let it air dry completely before wearing it again.
6)Moisturize your feet
Get yourself a moisturizer for the feet, which must be applied, every night before sleeping. This will not only help you get rid of the dead skin but also keep your legs supple.
