The Multi Tasking Lipstick! | How To Use Lipstick As Eyeshadow & Blush
Did you know that your lipstick can serve two more purposes than just making your lips look gorg? Yeah, you heard us right! The colour pigment present in the lipstick is very similar to the colour used in shadows and blushes, what differs is the formula that affects the texture of the product.
To use lipstick as an eyeshadow or cheek stain, we suggest you to use a creamy lipstick. Don't go for too glossy or too matte as they will not blend easily. So grab your favourite creamy lipstick and get started!
The lipstick used here is the L'oreal Paris colour riche 467 which is a light pink which is just perfect to add a hint of colour to your eyelids and cheeks. This trick is also great when you want a perfect no makeup makeup look. So just put on some tinted moisturiser and use the lipstick for your eyelids and cheeks. Remember that a little goes a long way, so don't overdo with the product!
You can use the colour of your choice to create the mood of your own, but remember for the cheeks, use pinks, corals, peaches, reds and oranges. For the eyelids, you can choose from a range of corals to plums and everything in between!
Here are a few lipsticks that you can use as eyeshadow and cheek stain :
1. Revlon colour burst matte balm - Shade sultry 225
2. Lakme 9 to 5 weightless matte mousse lip & cheek colour
3. Rimmel lasting finish lipstick - Shade Airy Fairy
So on days you just don't feel like spending time in doing makeup but want to look flawless, this trick is your answer! You also don't need to freak out if you ever run out of eyeshadow and blush!
