How To SLAY The Jewel Tones On Your Eye Make Up
Metallics, particularly golds, silvers and coppers were a HUGE trend last year and have managed to still stick around. Be it clothes, accessories or even makeup, metallics have definitely made a mark on each of these! Taking this trend up a notch, makeup expert Vibhuti has experimented with colours and metallics to create a fusion here!
Taking major inspirations from the rich tones of Indian jewels like emeralds and sapphires, you can put together this stunning look which compliments Indian outfits. Particularly, you can sport this when you have an element of these colours in your Indian outfits, but also if you're wearing a plain black or white ensemble.
Feel free to go ahead with a combination of other jewel tones that you like, but make sure those shadows are metallic in nature. If they don't, you can always use the good old vaseline to make it look a tad bit glossy. Don't forget to prime your eyelids to create the perfect base. When you shop for your metallic shadows, look for words like - pigmented, prismatic, metallic etc on the product packaging. Bobbi brown metallic eyeshadows or the NYX prismatic eyeshadows are our favourite!
For this look, go super dramatic with the winged liner, just the way it's been demonstrated here! The contrast of the black over the colours makes the colours pop even more! <3
Keep your lipstick light pink or muted for a softer day look however you can brighten it up if you're going out in the night!
And there you have it, stunning colours straight out of the jewels right onto your eyes!
