Skin Care In Your 20's
You think you are quite young in your 20’s but now it’s the time to look towards your skin and nurture your complexion. Did you know that women should begin being proactive towards their skin in early 20’s as signs of ageing starts appearing from mid 20’s? And prevention is better than cure, right?
So here is how you can nurture your skin by keeping these things in mind.
If you don't already wash your face at night, you need to start. Like, tonight. Because that lovely mask of makeup, skin oils, and dirt that you end up with by the end of the day doesn't just lead to zits. Cosmetics can also trap skin-damaging free radicals that float in the air ,eventually leading to premature lines, wrinkles. Ideally, wash your face with a facewash that suits your skin perfectly. If you’re looking for something mild then cetaphil face wash is your answer!
Never underestimate the power of SPF.
“UV rays are always around, even on a cloudy day, when you’re inside working near a window or even just driving your car, UV rays can penetrate through number of things like windows, sand, and even tinted car windshield. This UV radiation is just as damaging as direct exposure, sun is the number one cause of external skin aging.since it’s not always thought about on a daily basis. It’s essential to protect ourselves at all time as it contributes to premature skin aging. This is why the key to any healthy skin regimen is using a daily SPF product year round.
Your diet matters—so does exercise.
Drink a tall glass water with a squeeze of lemon and organic honey (suagrfree) every day and throughout the day, drink at least two-three litres of water. Also, if normal gymming becomes too boring for you, try going for a swim, or dance/zumba, or cycling at least three to four times a week!
Never sleep with your makeup on—seriously.
It’s a no-brainer, but we’re all guilty of sleeping in our makeup from time to time. Yes, you must be getting tired and bored to get yourself to remove your makeup. Tt happens, but don’t even think about making it a habit. Doing so can block pores, leaving oil trapped inside. This leads to bacteria buildup and, yes, breakouts. It can also stretch out pores which no one wants.
Kick start your anti-aging regimen.
It’s important to start in early 20’s with at least one anti-aging product in your skincare routine. It could be a good way to ease into the process and also try out ingredients that work for you. Use a product that contains vitamin C or other antioxidants. These products help prevent premature aging by preventing the oxidative damage that occurs with UV exposure and environmental pollution.
