1. The Square Pallu:
Take your pallu from under your right underarm, across your chest to the left side of your blouse and secure it with a pin. For the remaining pallu, lay it vertically on the shoulder and pin it. Make neat pleats of the rest of the pallu and pin to secure your pallu. This drape, is great to show off your favourite necklaces, as it doesn't cover the chest and neck.
2. The Narrow Pallu:
Make two inch wide pleats of your saree pallu. If your border on your saree, pleat on the basis of the width of your border. Pin and secure the pallu, before placing the pallu over the shoulder. Take the pleated pallu over your shoulder and secure it with a pin. If you have any loose fabric at the waist, fold and pin it neatly. This drape is great to show of an embellished blouse or your curves.
3. The Half Falling Pallu:
Take an edge of the pallu and pin it at your shoulder. Make a twelve inch wide pleat and neatly pin it at the shoulder. This drape is great if you like the look of, the falling pallu but hate that the pallu getting in the way. This drape, maintains the look of the classic falling pallu drape and makes motoring through your day easy.
