1)Condition your nails and cuticles:
Its really important to condition your cuticles. For this you don’t need any specific cuticle oil, you can use any body oil or balm. You can even grab some olive oil or coconut oil from the kitchen. The key is to make sure that whatever you are using is softening and …..Just dab the oil, balm on each cuticle and massage gently.
2)Soak your cuticles in warm water:
Heat a small bowl of water and let your fingers soak for 5 minutes and pat it dry. This will soften the cuticles and help prepare them to be pushed back without any hard pressure which might lead to tearing of cuticles.
3)Gently push the cuticles back:
After you have soaked, pat hands dry with a towel. Now gently push back cuticle using a wooden stick and not metal stick. Move the stick in circular direction at the base of your nail, In this way it will remove any built up dead skin..
4)Don’t cut your cuticles:
Cutting your cuticles should be a big no-no. They're protecting your nails, especially the roots, and keeping them safe from bacteria. Cutting them means your nails have no protection. It's better to simply push them back.
5)Moisturize your cuticles:
After you’ve conditioned, soaked and pushed back your cuticles, finish the treatment with one last dose of moisture. You can use the same product you used to condition you basically just have to repeat the 1st step but this time using less product, Gently massage the oil into your cuticles and nail bed.
This whole process takes less than 10 minutes but has a big impact on the way your cuticles look and feel by giving your nails a healthy appearance.
